Ordered ceviche and an agua de melón for pick up through DoorDash and the restaurant parking lot is completely empty. There is urgency or care from what I assume is the owner/manager and employees. I walked in and the owner/manager was too busy eating and greeted me with food in mouth, didn’t stand up or anything, said they’ll bring up the food and continued eating. When the server came up with my food the owner/manager asked how i was going to pay. The food was already paid for since I used DoorDash. She continued with saying that it didn’t show that in the system and was completely unprofessional the whole time. The only somewhat good thing was the food and drink.
I searched for Mexican food on Maps and stumbled across this place after searching through 20+ places. I'm glad this was my decision. I ordered the Lengua tacos and they were delicious! Service was great. I enjoyed the food so much, I made the drive from Carrollton again the following day before work. This time I enjoyed a Lengua burrito.
Outstanding 2nd visit. Food is fresh and flavorful. Service is excellent and very friendly. The portions are nice and a great value for the money. Free chips and salsa with two additional sauces in large squeeze bottles. Very large menu with all the classics and some things you don't see at most Mexican restaurants. Tamales are very good. Burrito bowl is a great option, fresh and large portion. I had one of the best Chili Rellenos I have ever had and I always order one when available, it was freshly fried and filled with cheese. This is a must if your looking for authentic Mexican food and they have "Americanized" Mexican options as well.
